What this world needs more of is some good seagaze. New York quartet, The Foxfires, specialize in just that with the perfect blend of indie-rock and shoegaze to delight the senses.
The band’s latest release, “Don’t Give Up,” is a message of solidarity as we try to push our culture towards a more empathetic, equal, and balanced future where we see past race, gender, religion, sexuality, or political party and to fully embrace all of humanity.
As the world mourns the tragic deaths of beloved stars such as Chester Bennington, Chris Cornell, Kate Spade, and Anthony Bourdain, “Don’t Give Up” is an anthem of life which the band has been adamant about putting out in response to the suicide epidemic. The track gives life to those who may feel alone and hopeless. More music is set to be released this winter.
