Just in case you were looking for your next favorite indie-rock band for the summer, we might have found the one for you.
Directly from Memphis, TN and into your ears, we present to you The Band CAMINO – a four-piece group that has been together for a bit more than two years now but has been making a lot of noise (literally) since the release of their debut EP back in 2016.
As of right now, the band is ready to release their second EP, Heaven, this Friday, June 2. They also have been featured on Spotify’s Indie Pop playlist and have over 100k monthly plays on their Spotify profile.
A promising sound for the alternative scene is how I would describe The Band CAMINO. Their song “My Thoughts On You” encapsulates the band’s approach and talent. The lyrics on this one really crushed me because it’s so relatable and heart-breaking yet beautiful. “I forgot what it was like, to think I found you finally, what if you were the one for me? I hope you weren’t the one for me.”
