Brooklyn’s Majestyy just might have been NY’s best kept secret until being featured on TV Land’s season finale of Younger last week. Created in 2012 by Brian Jacobs, Majestyy is a synthpop project of epic proportions, giving off a vibe of some darker Passion Pit mixed in with a healthy dose of New Order.
Track of choice, “Beautiful Child of Everlasting Love,” previously mentioned as being featured in the last scene of Younger‘s season finale, wasn’t even recognized by Shazam after trying multiple times until finally tracking it down online. I have a feeling that will all change soon.
