Hailing from Long Island, NY, sibling duo, Kelly & Kat started performing at an early age, and we have a feeling they’re about to take the world by storm!
In 2014, the duo made an appearance at the American Music Awards as winners of a nationwide Disney and Kohl’s Sing Your Frozen Heart Out competition with a harmonized rendition of “Let It Go.” Since then, Kelly & Kat have been developing their unique style and sound, working with some notable musicians and producers – No Doubt drummer, Adrian Young, being one of them.
It’s pretty evident these girls are ready to take the world by storm and new single, “Stardust,” just might be the catalyst to all of their hard work!
Teaming up with Warner Music producer/writer, Eren Cannata, “Stardust” lifts the veil of magic from an old love, allowing us to stop romanticizing what we had while seeing things for what they truly are.
“We wrote ‘Stardust’ after one of us had run into an ex and couldn’t stop thinking about them,” they shared. “The stardust to us represents a higher place you hold someone, but the more that you get hit with the reality of who they actually are, it can bring them into the darkness and finally take them off the pedestal. We had so much fun playing around with the concept of space in our songwriting sessions.”
