Brooklyn-based electro-pop & ‘future-soul’ singer/songwriter, Josh Jacobson, is gearing up for the release of his debut EP, First Light, this September and if you’re a fan of Lostboycrow with a hint of James Blake, this guy will be your new obsession in no time. We got our first taste of the magic that is Josh Jacobson with new single, “Tethered” – a mixture of Jamie xx and LBC paired with the singer’s soulful vocals and a glorious helping of trumpets and bells.
“‘Tethered’ is at its core a song about coming to terms with the fact that even the most meaningful connections can be temporary…but on a deeper level it’s about the whole concept of learning to live in a state of constant flux.”
