The smooth yet powerful vocals of Jeffrey James, mixed with emotionally charged lyrics, are bound to captivate listeners and leave an impression. The Nashville-based artist’s music is described as a groove-heavy R&B/alt-pop hybrid built on pure emotion. James’s music does a great job showcasing his vocal talent and songwriting abilities, and has already been featured on notable television series such as Nashville and Criminal Minds.
James collaborated with several producers, including John Luke Carter (Mokita) and Tony Esterly (“Satisfied” – Sia ft. Miguel and Queen Latifah), and The Worktapes (Matt Joynt of The Format), to create his latest four-song EP, Unsaid. The track of the same name tells the tale of the frustration and confusion of a rocky love affair, and James says the track is about, “living in your head thinking if you had just opened up, been honest, and said what you really wanted to say, everything might have been OK.”
