Emerging LGBTQ+ artist, Jay Alan, just might be pop’s next superstar. A bonafide YouTube sensation in his own right, Alan’s covers of the hottest pop hits only prove he has what it takes to join his influences at the top of the charts! Hailing from a small town in Indiana, Alan proves that it doesn’t matter where you come from; you can still make an impact. Striving to create music that connects with LGBTQ+ youth, Alan’s mission is to provide a safe space for anyone who needs acceptance and support.
Alan’s new single, “Got Feelings” hits you right, well…in the feels! We’ve all fallen for a friend before, and the anxiety from that alone can cause some serious inner turmoil. “Got Feelings” is modern day pop perfection that is sure to turn heads this year. The track is set to be featured on the singer’s forthcoming debut EP.
“Having recently lost a best friend to his own unrequited love for me, this release seems somewhat ironic now,” shared Alan. “What was written from my perspective about an ex, I now see through his eyes about me. My favorite part about music is how easily the meaning of a song can evolve, even when it begins as your own story.”
