Oxford-based four-piece, BE GOOD – comprised of Ash Cooke, Charlie Clark, Patch Burley, and James Cunning – have a way with synths that will have you feeling a certain way it’ll be hard to turn away. After meeting in pubs and ceramic arts classes, the band started releasing songs about small town suburban boredom, leading them to turn the ordinary into something magnificent.
Named after 96 year-old chemistry professor, John B. Goodenough, BE GOOD have been gearing up for the release of sophomore EP, Everything’s Alright In The Evening, out today, and new focus track, “Young Strangers” is a superb way to introduce these guys to your ears!
Using field recordings to infuse cinematic moments while giving the listener an up-close feel into the location the track lives inside, “Young Strangers” explores the aftermath of a breakup as two people try to separate their lives but they’re still very much woven together.
