I think I have mentioned this a few times before, but I’m always in to discover everything alt-pop and/or alt-rock, especially when it comes straight from the UK.
Alvarez Kings are an alternative pop band from South Yorkshire, UK. Led by brothers Paul and Simon Thompson alongside mates Sean Parkin and Richard Walker, the quartet has toured a lot over the past five years and have been creating a lot of buzz around them since sharing the stage with acts such as PVRIS, Echosmith and most recently, Melanie Martinez.
The band has recently premiered a music video for their song, “Sleepwalking Pt. II,” featured on their upcoming debut album Somewhere Between scheduled for release on April 14. With great vocals and catchy, energetic melodies, Alvarez Kings offers an interesting, refreshing sound that will make them stand out from the others.
