We are gutted over the news of the death of Scott Weiland. The former lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver was found dead last night on his tour bus at the age of 48. We’re not sure of the details but that doesn’t really matter right now. In times like these, it’s always best to remember the music and legacy the fallen have left with us.
Weiland was one of the voices of the 90’s rock scene and every time I hear “Interstate Love Song,” I’m brought right back to my formative years watching MTV and VH1 early Sunday mornings before my parents got up, just soaking everything in from every genre.
