Liverpool-based indie band Motherhood has returned with brand new music to spice up the dull days of winter. We have all probably failed with New Year’s resolutions by now anyway but our love for new music remains intact.
The freshest track from the band, “Hey You,” is a more laid back effort than last year’s release – tropical pop anthem “Save Me” but still just as fun. Reminiscent of the likes of American Authors and Walk The Moon with the overall vibe, the lyrics tell the event of late night text confessions to an ex; a questionable act turned into one great indie song everyone can relate to. The track is taken from Motherhood’s upcoming debut EP out later in the year.
